Databox Reporting Overview

This guide explains how Plastix Marketing reporting works, what data sources we connect, and how to use your Databox dashboards to track performance over time.

Overview: What you get

Plastix Marketing uses Databox to centralize your marketing and performance data into a set of dashboards. These dashboards are designed to give you a clear, ongoing view of results across:

  • SEO growth
  • Local SEO / Google Business Profile
  • Lead generation
  • Technical SEO health

Most clients have 4–6 dashboards, and while the exact dashboard set may evolve over time, the core metrics we track remain consistent.

Data sources we connect

Databox pulls in data from multiple platforms we integrate for your reporting:

  • Google Analytics (GA4) – website traffic and engagement
  • Google Search Console – search visibility metrics (impressions, clicks)
  • Semrush (via our account access) – keyword rankings, SEO insights, technical audits
  • Google Business Profile – maps/local visibility, calls, clicks, reviews
  • Aesthetix CRM (via Databox API) – lead and form conversion data
  • Ad platforms (when applicable) – if you’re running ads, we can connect ad data into the reporting view

If you’re subscribed to SEO services (like SEO content creation and SEO initiatives), this dashboard shows the KPIs we use to evaluate growth.

Key metrics you’ll see

Website Visits

  • Total visits to your website (overall traffic volume)

Search Impressions (Google Search Console)

  • How many times your site appeared in Google search results
  • This is a top-of-funnel visibility metric

Clicks vs. Impressions context (important note)

  • A trend we’ve seen in 2025: impressions rising while clicks stay flat or decrease.
  • This shift is commonly attributed to changes in Google search behavior (including AI Overviews), which can increase visibility without increasing clicks.
  • Our goal remains: increase impressions and improve clicks and website visits.

Supporting SEO views in this dashboard

Sessions by Source

A breakdown of where your traffic comes from, such as:

  • Direct traffic
  • Organic search (Google)
  • Email (sometimes from Aesthetix CRM)
  • Other sources and referrers

Rankings Distribution (Semrush)

Shows how many tracked keywords rank in different tiers:

  • Top 3
  • Top 10
  • Top 20
  • Top 100

How to interpret this today

  • The Top 10 is the first page of Google results and is the highest priority for most SEO programs.
  • Rankings beyond page one historically have much lower click potential, so we focus heavily on moving more terms into the Top 10.

Backlinks

Displays the number of backlinks connected to your domain.

Keywords by Position

A list view of tracked keywords sorted by ranking position—starting with page one and moving downward—so you can see exactly what’s ranking and where.

Dashboard 2: Local SEO Dashboard (Google Business Profile performance)

This dashboard is built primarily from Google Business Profile data to help you see local visibility and activity.

Key metrics you’ll see

  • Profile views (how often people view your listing in Maps or local results)
  • Phone calls (calls driven from the listing)
  • Website clicks (clicks from your profile to your site)
  • Total reviews (overall review count trend)

This dashboard provides a clear snapshot of how your local presence is performing over time.

Dashboard 3: Lead Generation Dashboard (where leads come from)

This dashboard is designed to give a holistic view of lead production and sources. Most of the data typically comes from the Aesthetix CRM integration, and if you’re running ads, we can also incorporate ad data.

Key metrics you’ll see

Total Leads

  • A single view of total lead volume across tracked sources.

Lead Source Breakdown

  • Shows where leads are coming from (examples may include):
    • Consultation form
    • E-book/guide downloads
    • Other web forms or funnels

Visitor-to-Lead Conversion Rate

This is calculated as:

  • Total leads ÷ total website visits

A common benchmark goal is around ~2%, though it can vary by practice type, traffic quality, and funnel maturity.

Lead Type Breakdown

Often separated into categories such as:

  • E-book leads
  • Web form leads

So you can see what’s working best (and where to optimize next).

Dashboard 4: Technical SEO Audit Dashboard (site health)

This dashboard is powered by Semrush’s Site Audit and helps monitor technical issues that can affect search engine crawling and indexing.

What matters most here

Errors (highest priority)

  • We aim to keep Errors at 0
  • Errors can prevent search bots (like Google’s crawler) from properly crawling your site.

Site Audit Score

  • Target goal: 92 or above

Warnings and minor issues may still appear; they’re monitored and improved over time, but errors are the main items that can meaningfully block performance.

Databox dashboards are interactive and allow you to:

  • adjust the date range (bottom right)

    view performance for:

    • last 30 days (often the default)
    • month-to-date
    • year-to-date
    • or custom ranges

After changing the date range, dashboards will refresh with updated data (it may take a short moment to repopulate).

This is especially useful for spotting longer-term trends versus short-term fluctuations.

Where you can access your dashboards

You’ll receive a Databox link to view your dashboards. If you use Aesthetix CRM, we can also embed the dashboards inside your Aesthetix CRM dashboard, so you can review reporting directly within your CRM environment.

Questions or changes

Reporting views and dashboards may evolve over time as platforms and metrics change, but the goal stays the same: give you a clear view of performance and progress across SEO, local visibility, and lead generation.
